City of Lakes AmeriCorps
Help students in an urban setting gain the skills they need to
succeed. Provide tutoring, mentoring, afterschool activities and
service learning opportunities to children K-12. Location: Minneapolis
Public Schools.
Minnesota Math Corps
Apply your skills to help children succeed in math. Provide math
tutoring for students in grades 4-8. Locations: Saint Cloud, Saint Paul
and the Saint Croix River Education District.
Minnesota Reading Corps
Be part of a proven program that helps children learn to read.
Provide targeted literacy tutoring support to struggling readers, age 3
to grade 3. Locations: More than 400 preschool and elementary school
sites throughout Minnesota.

underserved community members. Help youth and adults use technology
to access civic, educational and economic opportunities. Location: Twin

City Skills
Help people enter the workforce. Provide intensive support and
placement services to remove barriers to employment for ex-offenders and
new immigrants. Location: North Minneapolis.
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
AmeriCorps
Build, rehab and repair homes in partnership with community
volunteers and low-income families. Provide education and supportive
services for children, youth and their families. Location: Twin Cities
Metropolitan area.
Environmental Protection
Conservation Corps Minnesota
Engage young adults in natural resource management and renewable
energy activities. Provide youth development activities through
environmental conversation projects. Locations: Multiple sites
throughout Minnesota.
Minnesota GreenCorps
Improve the environment through green projects. Provide education
and promotion of “green living” strategies including community gardens,
composting at schools, and energy reduction. Locations: Multiple sites
throughout Minnesota.
Green and Healthy Home Corps
Help prevent lead exposure for children and weatherize homes for
greater energy efficiency. Provide outreach, education and
interventions to low-income families regarding green, healthy homes.
