Isa Kibira is the Community Engagement Evaluator at ServeMinnesota where he leads support initiatives and workforce development opportunities for BIPOC AmeriCorps Members. He also works closely with the research teams at ServeMinnesota to engage community members in the evaluation of AmeriCorps programs.
Prior to joining ServeMinnesota, Isa served as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow, and later a Program Coordinator, in the Office of Black Student Achievement (OBSA) in Minneapolis Public Schools. In OBSA, Isa led a class called B.L.A.C.K (Building Lives and Acquiring Cultural Knowledge) at NE Middle School, Fair High School, and Patrick Henry High School. Isa received a BA in Politics from Occidental College.
