About True North AmeriCorps
True North AmeriCorps members increase the capacity of community partners to meet the needs of youth in the Duluth and Proctor areas. Located within the Duluth YMCA, True North AmeriCorps members serve local youth in grades K-8, increasing their social and emotional learning skills through enrichment programming, individualized support, and targeted skill building.
Essential Qualifications
- Interest in working with school-age youth
- Ability to communicate with people of different backgrounds
- Basic computer skills including email and word processing
- Commitment to the entire service term
