From app development and support to building Power BI dashboards for stakeholders, I love transforming data collection systems and reporting into meaningful insights that highlight the incredible work our members do. As a Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) AmeriCorps member from 2013 to 2015, I had the privilege of teaching essential technology skills to underserved communities in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Some of my most rewarding moments came when a participant had an “ah-ha!” realization—the instant I could see everything click. The AmeriCorps “I will get things done” mindset has stayed with me ever since, shaping how I approach challenges and solutions.
