Why Not Serve in AmeriCorps This Summer?

Although it’s only April, it is not too early to think about you’ll be doing this summer. Why not consider serving in AmeriCorps?

Yes, many AmeriCorps service terms are year-long or coincide with the school year, but in Minnesota, a few organizations offer summer AmeriCorps serice options. If you’ve recently lost an internship or a job because of the COVID-19 crisis, AmeriCorps service could be your new internship or provide a career pivot to a new job (or perhaps, more service). Positions all begin between May and June and end in August 2020.

Programs range from wilderness conservation to emergency response. Each has its own application and position description, which you can find by following the links below.
